IOLMaster 700 is the top technological product for innovation and design in optical biometry. Developed and presented by Carl Zeiss Meditec in Jena, Germany, the prototype was launched in 1999. The data provided by the B-scan is additionally more unbiased than A-scans, which do not have the capacity nor the ability to give an accurate image of the ocular structure. 

This ensures that the entire intraocular anatomy is assessed, including the eye’s crystalline lens location. In addition, it can help in deciding and regulating sources that may affect the biometric readings of the eye examination. 

Tele-centric Keratometry- the device’s system gives an accurate corneal evaluation, notwithstanding the size of the pupils. Its 950-mm light source scan can also probe deep within the sclera layer of the eye. 

The IOLMaster 700 also allows the surgeon to see the refractions on the printout of the scan conducted. This enables the user to see and discern the satisfactory ones automatically.
