Description
The CIRRUS 6000 by ZEISS is a new Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) device. It is made to provide better imaging speed and clarity.
It scans 100,000 times per second and uses high-definition imaging. This gives doctors a wide view, helping them diagnose faster and in more detail.
“CIRRUS 6000 was made for the patient. It allows doctors to access patient data from Cirrus devices. We are committed to our customers and believe this will become an essential asset to their practice.”
Jim Mazzo is the global president of ophthalmic devices at Carl Zeiss Meditec.
The new Zeiss OCT device works well with patient data from older CIRRUS devices, helping to maintain consistent care and improve patient outcomes.
The device now offers wider and deeper OCT/OCTA scans. It features 12 mm × 12 mm OCT angiography and a B-scan depth of up to 2.9 mm. The release said the HD AngioPlex scan provides more detail than previous models.
Why Choose the ZEISS CIRRUS 6000?
- Unmatched Speed and Detail: The CIRRUS 6000 scans at 100,000 scans per second. It provides a wider view, up to 12mm in one scan. This means faster, more detailed imaging, helping you confidently make informed decisions.
- High-Definition Imaging: HD OCT and OCT Angiography (OCTA) capture the finest microvascular details of the retina. The CIRRUS 6000 shows the detailed structures and problems of the retina, which is important for good patient care.
- Revolutionary, Yet Routine: The ZEISS AngioPlex® OCT Angiography technology improves how we manage glaucoma and retinal diseases. It offers non-invasive imaging of the tiny blood vessels in the retina. With CIRRUS 6000, revolutionary eye care becomes routine.
- Proven Analytics for Smart Decisions: The CIRRUS platform uses clinically validated applications. These help with accurate analysis and quicker decision-making. This applies to many conditions, such as retina, glaucoma, and anterior segment.
- Comprehensive Reference Database: The larger ZEISS CIRRUS Reference Database has data from 870 patients. This creates a solid foundation for comparing measurements, including macular thickness, ganglion cell thickness, optic disc thickness, and RNFL. We can compare these measurements to a reference range for healthy eyes.
- Patient-Centric Design: The CIRRUS 6000 platform designers built it with your patients in mind. Seamlessly transfer dynamic patient data from previous generations of CIRRUS, ensuring continuity of care across generations.
Making the revolutionary routine
