The Avanti® Widefield OCT offers novel images from the cornea to the choroid. It features exclusive technology that will change your approach to disease diagnosis and management. You can add AngioVue® OCT Angiography (OCTA) to the Avanti platform to bring non-invasive vascular imaging with measurement tools to your practice.

AngioAnalytics® OCTA metrics bring objective data to Optovue’s AngioVue OCTA system. The analysis package includes color-coded maps of retinal or optic nerve vessel densities, provides analysis of areas where

there is loss of blood vessels (non-perfusion) or abnormal growth of blood vessels (area of ​​flow), and it shows several parameters to assess the change to the foveal avascular zone. AngioAnalytics also provides trend analysis so ophthalmologists can objectively monitor retinal and vascular changes caused by disease progression or treatment.

• Cornea and Anterior Segment

High-resolution images of the cornea and the angles of the front of the eye assists in our assessment of patients who have had cornea transplants and identify patients at risk of angle closure glaucoma.

• Glaucoma

Another useful function is the assessment of the optic nerve head for identifying patients with glaucoma and monitoring their progression.

• Retina

In the past, separate machines were required to first scan the retina to provide a map of the retina while the standard for investigation of abnormalities in the vasculature of the retina required the injection of a dye into the vein of the patient. This is invasive and can sometimes be difficult if a patient has very fine veins or if the patient has an underlying allergy to the dye used.
