Description

The RS-3000 Lite from Nidek is an optical coherence tomography (OCT) device designed for routine ophthalmic examinations. It offers high-resolution OCT imaging and essential clinical analyses, while maintaining excellent value for money for general eye care practices.
The RS-3000 Lite achieves the optimal balance between cost and performance with its fundus-surface imaging system. It has been developed for screening in general eye clinics.

Its compact design, tiltable color LCD screen, and PC connectivity make it a practical tool adaptable to any clinical environment. In addition, optional modules such as anterior segment analysis or a database for eyes with long axial length can be added to enhance diagnostic capabilities.

The RS-3000 Lite is a reliable, accurate, and cost-effective OCT solution, ideal for eye care professionals who want to offer high-quality examinations without compromise.

Features

  • High-resolution OCT imaging for general screening
  • Fundus surface imaging with fundus phase OCT
  • Macular and optic nerve thickness analysis
  • Thickness maps [NFL+GCL+IPL] and RNFL
  • Normative database for clinical comparison
  • OCT sensitivity adjustable according to clinical needs
  • Intuitive user interface with colour display
  • PC connectivity for archiving and analysis
  • Compatible with the NAVIS-EX software for data management

The RS-3000 Lite offers several OCT sensitivity modes (regular and fine), allowing adaptation to different eye conditions, particularly in the presence of cataracts or opacities. It also includes an extensive normative database (9 x 9 mm macula and 6 x 6 mm disc), facilitating comparative analysis of retinal thickness and optic nerve thickness.

Although certain features, such as choroidal mode, eye twist tracking (TET), and HD tracing mode, are reserved for the Advance model, the RS-3000 Lite retains the essential features for screening for conditions such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
